SFL TURN OVER INTELECTUALS
San Fulgencio put on arguably their best performance of the season to beat the Intellectuals at Bonalba last weekend
Intellectuals bated first and were all out for 49 in the 32cd over.Jack Webster took 4-16 and Charlie Griffiths 2-13 on a day when all the SFL bowlers were really on song.
In reply San Fulgencio scored the half century required without losing a wicket to take maximum points at Bonalba. Openers Leigh Blann and Adam Algar scored 28 not out and 14 not out respectively, with 8 extras completing the runs total.
Unfortunately, with no wickets and scoring only 49 runs the Intellectuals got zeo points to add to their league total. On the other hand SFL gained maximum points from their contest for the first time this season.
