This Sunday regional trials for the Spanish National team will take place at the iconic Montjuic Stadium in Barcelona.
Twenty two of the top players from Cataluyna, who meet the eligibility criteria to play in an ICC tournament will play three x T20 matches in an attempt to impress the three National team selectors and bag a place in the Spanish National squad.
The two teams will be coached by former Spanish Internationals Armaghan Khan and Tanveer Iqbal, and if successful the player(s) will be invited to join up with the National squad at future events.

First Match 10.00 to 13.00
Second Match 13.00 to 14.30
14.30 lunch break
15.30 The CE delegation will inspect the new ground at Sabadell and watch part of the Barcelona Junior Sixes competition.
16.00 Return to Montjuic and watch the final trial match.
Anyone who is unsuccessful at the trials will be monitored throughout the year by Cricket Espana and Cataluyna Cricket, and if their form warrants it, will be given a chance at a later date.
