COLTS HOLD THEIR NERVE TO SEE OFF PLAYA BLANCA
Collegio Hispano Colts put in arguably their best performance of the season to win a nail biter at the Yaiza ground by just 4 runs.
Collegio batted first and were restricted to 136 all out off only 25.2 overs. Charlie Cooke excelled in the bowling department with an excellent 4 for 16 off 6 overs and this was matched by an outstanding performance behind the stumps by Stuaert Treharne who took four catches and two stumpings in only his 3rd game keeping wicket.
Colts fought back courageously and bowled Blanca all out for 132, despite a great effort by Cooke with the bat who scored 39 runs. Colts ended up with 17 points and Blanca 7 points for their efforts.
