Yesterday Olot Tigers took on New Target and it was the Tigers who emerged victorious to the tune of five wickets.
Target batted first and were all out for just 121 in twenty overs. Manjeet top scored with 23 but eight of his team mates failed to reach double figures. Twenty six extras were the only reason the Target total reached above three figures.
Sachin had the best bowling figures for the Tigers with three for 18 from his three overs, but it was a good team effort in the field for Olot has five of the six bowlers had at least one wicket to their name,
In reply Olot overtook the total with five wickets in hand. A fine sixth wicket partnership between Jahinder (38 not out) and Sachin (33 not out) was the main reason for the Tigers victory. Lucky and Tarun did take two wickets each in the Target bowling effort.
