MINHAJ SEE OFF OLOT
Minhaj cemented pole position i Cataluyna League B with a 2 wicket victory in the top of the table clash with fellow front runners Olot.
Olot won the toss and batted first, scoring 143 for 7 off their 25 overs. Parminder top scored with 40 and he was ably supported by Goldi who scored 32 runs. All the bowlers contributed to the Minhaj cause by taking wickets, with possibly Sarfraz being the pick of them with final figures of 2-25 off his 5 overs.
In reply, Minhaj wobbled and stuttered to their required total and it was only due to Ganzafar´s 45 not out, batting at 8 that they claimed the spoils and the points from this match. At 92 for 7 the game was tightly balanced but Ganzafar, along with sensible batting from Manpreet, finally got Minhaj over the finishing line with 2 wickets to spare.
