MINHAJ DOWN CORNELLA IN LATEST LEAGUE FIXTURE
Minhaj claimed victory by 5 wickets in the latest encounter in the Cataluyna league. Cornella won the toss and elected to bat but a disastrous start that saw them stumble to 11 runs for 6 wickets. A middle order stand of 50 between Nawaz and Shakeel restored some respectability, but the damage was already done and Cornella failed to reach 3 figures by the end of their innings.
In reply Minhaj had an early scare when the opener Awais went with only two on the board. Stability was restored with a 35 run partnership for the second wicket, and despite a few more wickets falling, Minhaj kept their heads to record a comfortable 5 wicket victory.
