MADRID STILL LOOKING FOR THAT FIRST WIN
Madrid I are still looking for that elusive first win after falling well short of victory in their latest match against La Manga
Madrid batted first but did little to trouble the La Manga bowling attack, being bowled all out for 123 in just 39 off their 45 overs. Opener Adam Langhans top scored with 43 whilst La Manga skipper George Wambeek turned back the years to post a season best bowling figures of 4 for 22 off 8 overs.
In reply La Manga made light work of the total with Munib Ranjah continuing to excel in the batting department. Having won the player of the tournament at the recent La Manga 20Twenty he scored 40 to ensure a La Manga victory with 29 overs to spare
Madrid´s misery was compounded when the 2 points they received from the game were deducted for no scorer. La Manga took 19 points from the game as they look to consolidate second place from Alcorcon
