Match four in the Lanzarote League saw Lanzarote CC overcome the Haylcon Wolves by a six wcket margin.
Batting first Wolves posted the decent total of 210 all out. Former La Manga player Ruble Singh hit a half century and Bretnell and Chhina chipped n with 44 runs apiece. Deepu picked up five wickets for Lanzarote to be the star performer in the bowling attack.
The Lanzarote batting made light work of the total with opener Darren Spurr seeing his side to victory with a fine 60 not out. Every other batsman to head out to the crease for the Wolves made double figures in what was a fine batting performance from Lanzarote.
Chhina was unfortunate to end up on the losing side as he added three wickets to his 44 for the Wolves. Lanzarote wll be looking to consolidate their good form with a strong performance against Puerto Del Carmen Cobras next weekend.
