LANZAROTE EASE PAST THE COMMITMENTS
Lanzarote CC eased past the Commitments in the latest Gran Canaria league game and in the process secured maximum points.
Lanzarote batted first and were immediately on op against the 9 man Commitments. Monesh, Nem and Dharma all scored half centuries as the home team made a total of 271 for 9 off their overs.
Commitments fought pluckily but could only muster 104 all out, despite David contributing 54 to the away teams cause. Commitments took 5 points from the game and Lanzarote 20 points. King Arthurs remain top of the table in the Gran Canarias and still look the team to beat this season.
