LA MANGA 2 UPSET TABLE TOPPERS
La Manga 2 upset table toppers Sporting Alfas 2 in the latest development league game to be played at the La Manga resort
La Manga batted first and notched up 230 before being bowled all out by the Alfas bowlers. Opener Guppy Singh scored 60 and that was bettered by Stewart Simkins who hit a fantastic 84.
Alfas replied tamely and could only muster up a season low of 85 as the La Manga bowlers ran riot. Ruble Singh was the main thorn in the Alfas side, bagging 4 wickets for only 16 runs.He was well supported by Guppy Singh and Davies who shared 4 wickets between them.
La Manga scored 19 points from the game and Alfas added 6 points to their league total. Alfas stay remain firmly on top of the developmen league but Madrid can still pip them for he title if they win all their remaining games convincingly.
