INTELLECTUALS SECURE A GROUND FOR THE SEASON

The Intellectuals CC have finally managed to acquire their own ‘home ground’:  

Bonalba Golf Resort and Spa http://www.bonalbagolfresort.com has provided a piece of land at its resort, which will, with effect from the 1 April 2010, serve as the Intellectuals home ground.

While the Intellectuals’ matches in the CE Costa Blanca League will be played at the predetermined venues, it is hoped that friendly fixture can be arranged at Bonalba throughout the year; including against one or the other team from abroad who might like to come on tour.

This is great news for the Intellectuals CC and Bonalba Golf Resort and Spa of course but it is also hoped that it will strengthen the development of cricket in the region and indeed cricket in Spain as a whole.
