Empuriabrava and Gracia met recently for their league encounter and it was the home side Empuriabrava that prevailed with a 55 run victory.
Gracia won the toss and invited the hosts to bat. Seven of the nine batsmen that got to the crease got into double figures as Empuriabrava posted a total of 175 for 7 from their over allocation. For Gracia Predeep and Kulwant were the pick of the bowlers bagging three wickets apiece.
In reply Gracia never really got into top gear and finished their innings on a score of 120 all out in the twenty-third over.
Opener Satajud Din top scored with 25 runs whilst Shehzad put in a fantastic spell of bowling to finish with the very impressive figures of six for 19.
Empuriabrava join another one of the seeded teams at the top of group Four.
Empuriabrava 175 for 7 beat Gracia 120 all out by 55 runs.
