EL CARMEL CRICKET CLUB
2nd Division Champions 2016 – T20 Tournament.
The T-20 final has been played between two finalists EL Carmel CC and Hawks’ CC on 06th November 2016 at Vidreres Cricket ground.
Both teams qualified for final from an original number of sixteen teams.
In the final match, Hawks won the toss and elected to bat first. Hawk CC scored 129 in their over allocation, with some good batting by Sunny and Malik.
In reply, El Carmel CC successfully chased the target on the loss of 8 wickets in 18th over.
Adil Ali of El Carmel CC scored 51 and Rizwan socred 22, and Adil Ali declared MAN OF THE MATCH.
President of Catalan Federation Khalid Shabaz , Manager Adnan Malik, and Mirza Basharat Aziz (who was in charge of the league) distributed the medals and trophies between both teams.
Manager Cricket Catalan Federation Adnan Malik also gave the trophy to Mirza Basharat for all his work in managing the whole year all the tournaments for Catalunya region.
