ZUFIQAR PUTS COLOMA BOWLERS TO THE SWORD

A superb one man performance by Qaiser Zufiqar of the Barcelona Eagles inspired his team to a 166 run victory over league rivals Santa Coloma.Eagles won the toss and elected to bat. Opener Zufiqar showed no mercy to the Coloma bowlers and pummelled 137 runs off just 77 balls. He carried his bat through the innings and then turned his attention to bowling. His 5 overs produced 2 wickets for the Eagles for a cost of only 10 runs, to give him the man of the match award and lift his team off the bottom of the table in Cataluyna League A.
