CRITERIA FOR NATIONAL REPRESENTATION
NATIONALITY CRITERIA
Players must qualify under one of the following:
1. A National of the Country
2. Born in the the Country
3. Resident in the Country for at least 183 days in each of the previous 7 years
4. Deemed Nationals – Resident in the Country for at least 183 days in each of the previous 4 years. (NOTE: Countries may only play a maximum of 2 players under this Category).
In addition players must meet one of the following Development Criteria:
1.Played at least 50% of games in National Competition in any 3 of the past 5 years.
2.Spent a cumulative total of 100 days over the previous 5 years
doing cricket work.
3.Played Representative cricket for the Country in the past.
4.Convinced the Chairman of the ICC Cricket Committee that he has genuine cricket commitment to the development of cricket in the Country.
