The latest installment in the Cataluyna League Group B proved a one sided affair as Santa Coloma Friends recorded a 72 run victory over Cataluyna Coalesce.
Batting first Coloma scored 173 all out in 24 overs. Star batsman was Lala who scored 60 of his teams total. Razaqat (34) was also a major contributed, whilst Shazad took three wickets for 23 runs with the ball for Coalesce.
Tausef Ahmed and Malik Anique gave Coalesce a solid start scoring 22 and 21 respectively, but they received little support from their batting counterparts as their side were bowled out for just 101 runs.
Coloma used eight bowlers and seven of them picked up wickets to confirm the strength in depth of one of the pre-season favourites for this years Cataluyna League Title. Coloma are now two wins from two and top of the table in Group B, with every side except Jove CC having played a fixture.
