The latest Cataluyna Junior League contest pitted Bengali CC against Sant Andreu CC and it was the latter who came out of the contest comfortable winners.
Sant Andreu won the toss and decided to bat first. Hassan, batting at number eight, top scored with 57 in his teams total of 168 for 9 and he was ably supported by allrounder Hamad, who struck 27 runs. For Bengali, four different bowlers took two wickets each.
In reply Bengali struggled from the off as the Sant Andreu bowling attack ripped through the core of Bengali batting. Only two batsmen managed to scrape into double figures as they were skittled out for just 76 runs.
Asad took three wickets for just seven runs to be the pick of the bowlers in the 92 run victory for his team.
Sant Andreu 168 for 9 beat Bengali CC 76 all out by 92 runs.
