Badalona Cricket Club started there league with a very close win against Raval Sporting Cricket Club. Badalona CC won the match by 1 wicket.
Badalona CC captain Asif won the toss and elected to field first. Badalona opening bowler Shaheed started very poorly in his first over by conceding 13 runs included 8 wides. But Badalona CC came back strongly with a maiden over by Abir in his 1st over and team’s 2nd over.
Shaheed came back in the third over and took his first wicket by bowling out Bittu of Raval Sporting. After that, Raval Sporting lost there way and started losing wicket continously.
In the middle order, Manish is the only player who manage to make the score book running. He managed 20 runs in 17 balls including 3 boundaries before Injamul took his wicket thanks to an amazing catch by Abdullah at cover. Ridoy of Badalona took 3 wickets by conceding 9 runs in 3 overs, Zihad took 2 wickets in 2 overs for 6 runs and Injamul took 2 wickets by giving 11 runs in 2 overs.
In reply, Badalona CC started slowly as their target was small. But they lost there way too after losing their 5th wicket. At this moment they needed 5 runs to win and 5 wickets in hand. But they lost 4 quick wickets which makes the match more interesting.
Finally Injamul took the winning run. Zihad of Badalona CC get 15 runs and Hamaiun 10. Mohsin from Raval Sporting took 4 wickets, Ali and Bittu took 2 wickets each.
