ALFAS 2 STAY ON TRACK FOR TITLE
Sporting Alfas 2 stayed on track for the ECCL Development title with a comfortable 71 run victory over San Fulgencio
Alfas batted first and both openers Marriner and Evans scored 52 a piece. The Alfas total finally ended up at 215 for 6 with Griffiths and Ashley Williams both taking 2 wickets for SFL.
In reply, Fulgencio opened with Jon and Adam Algar. The latter was playing his last game for SFL before going back to school in the UK to concentrate more heavily on his cricket
Unfortunately, Adam was out cheaply, however his father Jon, did top score for SFL (44) in the home sides total of 144 all out.
Alfas were eventual winners by 71 runs. Alfas took 18 points from the match and SFL notched up 5 points from the game.
