Spain now has eleven new qualified level one scorers after all candidates passed the course in Madrid last weekend held by Cricket Espana.
The course was tutored by ICC Europe Tournament referee Ray Hoyler and the intensive day long course included several scoresheets that the candidates needed to complete in order to be successful.
Five different teams were represented on the course with the majority of the pupils coming from the Madrid based clubs although Cataluyna and Ibiza also had representation.
This is the third ICC officials course in the space of just six months as previously a level 1a Umpires course was held in La Manga last November and then a level 1 umpires course took place in Barcelona at the end of February.
