DRAGONS TOO FIERCE FOR THE COLTS
The Spinnaker Dragons secured a fine away victory on the 2cd of August at the expense of THe Collegio Hispano Colts. Dragons won the toss and elected to bat. Matt Evans hit a fantastic 118 not out as the visitors posted a challenging total of 222 for 8 off 30 overs. Sam and George Gooding bowled exceptionally well for the youngsters and returned figures of 3 for 31 and 2 for 30 respectively.
Unfortunately, the Colts batting did not live up to expectations and the home side were skittled out for 123 in 26.3 overs. The Dragon bowlers shared their wickets between them and took 19 points from the fixture to climb up the league table.
