DRAGONS SLAY COBRAS
The Spinaker Dragons proved too strong for the Puerto Del Carmen Cobras in the latest league game on the Gran Canaria island.
Dragons batted first and amassed 172 for 7 off their allocated overs with Sean P and C Smith scoring 47 and 44 respectively.Craig Trapps had a good bowling spell off 2 for 18 off 6 overs.
In reply, the Cobras recorded a score of 115 all out from their 21.4 overs with Warriner being a real thorn for the Cobras batting. The Dragons bowler finally finished with the excellent figures of 5 for 23 from his six over spell.
The 57 run victory gave Dragons 18 points and the visiting Cobras 5 points. Scorecard below..
