The dates for the sixth annual Solidarity Charity Tournament are now confirmed.
Please see the mesage below from the Madrid President Jon Woodward inviting all clubs to participate in next years event, that will also run parallel with a netball event.
Dear All
It is with great pleasure I can announce the dates for Madrid CC’s 6thAnnual Solidarity T20 Cricket Tournament.
Here are some of the details of next year’s event:
- Dates – Thursday 18th April – Monday 22nd April – Tournament to be played from 9am on the 19th until the evening of the 21st.
- Venue – La Manga Club Resort , Murcia , Spain
- Accommodation – Four star luxury apartments at Las Lomas Village, La Manga Club Resort (It will be obligatory for teams to stay here in order to take part in the event). Precise details of the facilities on offer available on request.
- Price – 305€ per player which includes:
· 4 nights accommodation in Las Lomas Village (price based on two sharing)
· Entry into the tournament
· The Welcome Dinner (including wine, beer and soft drinks!)
· Lunch on each day of play (drinks bought separately)
· Evening meal at the prize giving ceremony on the Sunday evening.
· Entry into the spa facilities (services such as beauty treatments and the Jacuzzi are extra)
To secure your place in the tournament a deposit of 200€ is required as soon as possible. As per every year we will run a strict “first come first served” policy. However, as teams that have participated in previous events or that have enquired about next year’s tournament you have received the information first.
This year we are proud to announce that we will also be running a ladies netball tournament alongside the T20 cricket tournament. With up to100 ladies taking part we hope to create an atmosphere that will be unrivalled in previous events!
