2-1 SERIES VICTORY FOR CRUSADERS AGAINST OSLO ALIENS

Oslo aliens’ first tour to Malaga started off in a grand start as the weather was at its best.
Oslo aliens won the toss and elected to bat first against crusaders on different conditions. And were soon in trouble. Chris batten dismantled Oslo’s top order by taking 3-23 off 5 overs. Only Sunil 24 and Damon resisted through crusaders attack for a while. Oslo aliens were reduced to 65-6 off 10 overs. The partnership between Sunil and Damon took them over 100. The lower order was dismantled by the spinner Egan SD who took 3-6 off 2.4 overs. Oslo aliens ended up scoring 117 all out off 21.4 overs.
The score looked paltry, before Oslo aliens hit back with quick wickets. Dennis 3-12 ripped through the top order and Shantha the leg spinner took 2-21 troubling the crusaders batsmen. Crusaders were reduced to 75-7 off 17 overs. Crusaders needed 44 runs with 3 wickets in hand. Sam Boden 36* and Phill Nuttall 11* scored the remaining runs without any further damage with 40 balls to spare.
Sam Boden was adjudged Man of the match for his batting heroics.
The second match was reduced to 10 overs a side. Crusaders were asked to bat first. Egan dantis blasted to a quick fifty of 27 balls with 7 fours and 3 sixes and Diego played a second fiddle to Egan, scoring 25. The openers put on 91 runs for the first wicket in 8 overs. For Oslo Aliens Dan took 1-19. Crusaders put up a fighting total of 119-2
Oslo aliens once again come out with power hitters. After losing their openers in quick session. There were some delightful shots from Dennis 47 and Damon 31. Batsmen tried hard to chase down the target. But 119 was too much to chase down. Nasir Dar took 2-26 and Alex 1-11. Oslo aliens fell short by 18 runs ending on 101-4.
Egan Dantis was adjudged Man of the match for his brilliant half century.
Sunday 29 April
After 2 losses in the first 2 matches Oslo aliens read the pitch well and elected to bowl first, and soon made early inroads. crusaders were struggling after 10 overs, the score read 10 overs 7 maidens 11 runs. Damon’s varied his length and batsmen struggled to score of his bowling. His figures after 4 overs were 4-4-0-1. He was well supported by captain Dennis. Shantha the legspinner bowled brilliant and tied down the batsmen and built the pressure. He took 3-17 off his 7 overs. Crusaders had no answer to Oslo aliens bowling as all the batsmen struggled. Crusaders lost wickets at one end and Egan SD was stranded at the other end unbeaten on 17. Crusaders scored 90 all out in 25 overs .
Sometimes chasing low targets can be tricky and it turned out to be tricky for Oslo aliens, Crusaders hit back with some good bowling by Waqas Ali who bowled his all 7 overs in a trot. He took 5-23. He bowled some thunderbolts where batsmen were too late to pick the deliveries. Crusaders got them 50-6 off 13 overs. Needing 41 runs of 22 overs with 4 wickets in hand looked a bit tricky, but there was no support for Waqas Ali from the other end. Damon scored the remaining runs in a hurry to deny victory for crusaders. Oslo aliens beat crusaders by 4 wickets .Damon remained unbeaten on 28, And was awarded Man of the match for his all-round performance. Oslo Aliens ended their trip on a high note.
