Combined Colleges got back on track at the top of the Southern league by giving Fuengirola their first defeat of the season at the Cartama Oval last weekend.
Batting first the unbeaten side put in a shoddy batting performance and could only put a total of 140 onto the scoreboard. Waqas, Asif and Ashan all took three wickets for the Colleges.
In reply the home side struggled to overtake the small score but did so with 3 wickets to spare.
The result brings Fuengirola back to the pack and leaves the league wide open for the forthcoming fixtures.
Combined Colleges are top of the league but have played more games than all the other sides,if either Fuengiola Costa Del Sol or Mijas win their games in hand then they too could play a major role in were the league title finishes this season.
