Puerto Del Carmen Cobras bounced back from a defeat at the hands of St George to record a resounding victory over Lanzarote Wolves.
Batting first the Wolves could only muster a score of 85 for 8 from their allocated oves. Harjot top scored with 24 but it was the Cobras bowlers who made the headlines with Singh, Herbert and Matty Herbert took two wickets each at economical rates.
In reply, Cobras only lost three wickets in scoring their 88 runs. Evans went early but fellow opener Sachin contributed 30 precious runs. Jamie Rogerson went relatively cheaply but a third wicket partnership from V Singh and Herbert saw the Cobras home and still in with a chance of winning the Lanzarote T-Twenty League.
