CRICKET ESPANA LAUNCH SOURCE
Cricket Espana are proud to launch “SOURCE”, a forum for Spanish Cricket Officials in Spain. SOURCE stands for Scorers, Officials & Umpires Representing Cricket Espana and will be complemented quarterly by an official newsletter called “The Hotspot”
The aim of Source is to bring together cricketing officials across Spain to discuss and debate cricketing issues and offer a network for them to give opinions and thoughts on how to improve the standard of umpiring in Spain.
In this quarterly issue of “The Hotspot” we talk to Spain´s sole representative on the ICC Europe panel Ron Graham on the standard of umpiring in Spain, to La Manga`s scorer Claie Sunderland on the famous Spain v Isle of Man match in the semi-final of the 2007 ICC Europe Division 3 tournament in Belgium, and umpiring news around the Spanish regions.
Anyone interested in further inormation, offering suggestions, or wanting to join SOURCE can do so by contacting the CE Umpire Co-ordinator John Howden on howden.john@cricketspain.org
