After several weeks of turmoil due to the withdrawal of several clubs from the league we are reaching the business end of the season with two semi-finalists confirmed.
With the league somewhat revised four teams played in a qualifying competition for a place in the quarter finals.
Empuriabrava beat Olot Tigers and El Carmel beat the Eagles to join Pak Barcelona, Minhaj, City Lions, Hawks, Pak I Care and Badalona Shaheen at the quarter final stage.
The first quarter final saw Pak Barcelona beat Minhaj to book a dsemi final spot. City Lions joined them shortly afterwards downing Hawks CC.
The remaining quarter finals match up Pak I Care and Empuriabrava and Badalona Shaheen v El Carmel CC. These matches will take place on September 17th with the semi finals taking place the following weekend.
The eventual winners will be the Cataluyna representative in the Regional Finals were they will play in a triangular event against the winners of the ECCL and the winners of the Lanzarote Region at the Woodbridge Oval in Albir in mid-November.
