Barcelona Eagles showed their intent with a convincing victory over their rivals Minhaj in the second league match to be played at the Montjuic Stadium last weekend.
The Eagles batted first and scored a daunting 185 off their allocated 26 overs with Quaisr and Husnan making the lions share of the runs. In reply Minhaj fought bravely to chase down the target but could only manage 122 all out with Awais top scoring with 42 runs.
That win will certainly please the confident Eagles, as Minhaj were one of the major forces in last years league campaign. Next weekend sees more league action at the Montjuic Staium as more teams commence their league campaigns.
