ALI YOUNGSTER CC 87 ALL OUT BEAT PAK I CARE CC 37 ALL OUT BY 50 RUNS
Yesterday the Cataluyna Junior League got under way and it was Ali Youngster CC who made a winning start at the expense of Pak I Care Brothers Junior Cricket Club in a game that was dominated by both bowling sides.
Ali won the toss at Montjuic Stadium in Barcelona and elected to bat first. The first five batsmen only scored six runs from the bat as Atif stormed through the Ali top ordered with a fierce spell of bowling. The middle order offered some resistance and Ali finally ended up all out for 87 in eighteen overs. Ali finally ended up with the amazing figures of five wickets for just two runs at the end of his four overs.
However, Pak I Care CC found batting even more difficult and seven of their players were out without troubling the scores. They were indebted to opener Asad who scored 21 of his teams 37 runs. Tanveer with four wickets for four runs and Awais with three wickets for 18 were the pick of the Ali bowling attack.
