Cataluyna CC made it two wins from two with a comfortable victory over bottom club Paradise CC in the latest Cataluyna Premier Division A fixture.
Batting first Cataluyna made 229 for 5. Spanish international Armaghan Khan opened the batting and scored a fine 77. Asif also made a telling contribution, adding 75 not out off just 53 balls. The Paradise bowlers tried hard but none of their mainline men were able to take more than one wicket during their bowling spells.
Paradse never really looked like chasing down the Cataluyna total and they finally ended 106 all out from 22 overs. Only three batsmen got into double figures, with opener Afzaal top scoring with 22. For Cataluyna Khawar had a great five over spell, taking four wickets for just 14 runs.
Cataluyna CC 229 for 5 beat Paradise CC 106 all out by 123 runs.
