Cataluyna CC made it five wins from five league games after a comprehensive victory over Gracia CC and now reamain the only unbeaten team in Primera Division A.
Cataluyna won the toss and elected to bat first. Asif, Irfan and Armaghan were all amongst the runs as the league leaders rattled up a score of 171 all out against a spirited Gracia bowling attack.
Gracia responded well with three out of their top four batsmen making scores, but once they had departed the lack of batting depth in their squad was apparent and they were finally bowled out for 118 in the 23rd over.
Yasir with four wickets for 14 runs and Armaghan with three wickets for 26 made the biggest impact with the ball for the league leaders. Girona United, Girona Warriors and City Lions all just remain in the mix as the league season enters its final phase, but with this loss Gracia seem to have missed any chance of reaching the Regional finals this time around.
Cataluyna CC 171 all out beat Gracia CC 118 all out by 53 runs.
