Cataluyna CC remain the team to beat in Primera Division A as the hammered luckless Gymkhana CC in a lacklustre game in Montjuic recently.
Gymkhana won the toss and suprisingly elected to bat first. This decision immediately backfired as they were bowled out for a meagre 42 runs. Only Faisal made any sizeable contribution (18) whilst Asim took three wickets for three runs in three overs for the league leaders.
In reply, Cataluyna made light work of chasing down a cheap total. Minor hiccoups due to the loss of Irfan and Khurran for four and nought respectively did little to dampen their confidence and they eventually strolled to a seven wicket victory in just over half the allocated overs allowed.
