Badalona Shaheen continued their quest to be crowned Cataluyna Junior Champions by continuing their winning streak, and beating their nearest rivals Sant Andreu in the process.
After winning the toss Sant Andreu elected to bat. This decision looked to have backfired with the loss of opener Shahzad for nought. However, the other opener Sajid was playing well and he struck 44 in his sides total of 85 all out. Unfortunately, none of his team mates were unable to emulate his feat, leaving Shaheen firm favourites to take the points at the half way point.
Mustafa took three wickets for just 17 runs in his four over spell, and Adeel and Hamza both chipped in with two wickets apiece.
Badalona lost three quick wickets, but Umair steadied things for his team and then forged on to assist his team to victory. He ended up 23 not out to give his team once again top position ten points ahead of Sant Andreu.
