The Cataluyna Cricket Association will be holding their inaugural Asia Cup on the 16th July at Montjuic Stadium in Barcelona.
The brainchild of the new Cataluyna Cricket Directorate it will feature players representing Pakistan, India and Bangladesh from the various federating clubs throughout the region.
Government Officials and numerous dignataries from the local community will attend the event. The opening ceremony will take place at 8.30 am in the morning, with the first match, a mouthwatering clash between India and Pakistan taking place half an hour later.
The second match is between Pakistan and Bangladesh at 11.30 and then Bangladesh play India in the final group stage at 14.30. The top two teams from the Group stages will then play in the final at 18.00. The closing ceremony and awards will be around 21.00.
The Indian and Bangladesh squads have already been named but the Pakistani squad is still to be announced, with the selectors needing to make some tough decisions regarding one or two places.
There will also be a raffle taking place to win Cricket bats and equipment and entry is free so come along and support a great days Cricket in the wonderful city of Barcelona.
