ALI CC CLIP BARCELONA EAGLES WINGS
Ali Cricket Club won its first match of Catalunya Cricket league against Barcelona Eagles Cricket Club by 48 runs.
Yesterday(7th March) was the first day of Catalunya Cricket League. In this match Ali CC played against Barcelona Eagles CC. Ali CC captain Azid Ali Gondal won the toss and elected to bat first.
The 2 openers Abhishekh (12) and Nabeel( 7) were uncomfortable against the Barcelona Eagles bowling attack but after the falling of the two openers Atique( 40) and Gurmeet (56*) took responsibility for their teams innings and helped there team to get a good fighting score of 175 for 6 after 25 overs.

Ali Imran of Barcelona eagles took 3 wickets for 31 runs in his 5 overs.
In response of 175 Barcelona Eagles started very well. After 7 overs of fielding restrictions they had made 62 runs for the loss of only 1 wicket.
The openers Tahir (22), Qaiser (31) and the 3rd batsman Fahad (31) tried hard for there team. and after 16 overs they stood at 101/3. However, the middle and lower orders irresponsible batting helped swing the match for Ali CC.
Nadeem Akhtar of Barcelona Eagles couldnt bat because of a fielding injury leaving the Eagles batting one player short. Nabeel took 3 wickets for 21 runs in 4 overs to steer Ali CC to a 48 run victory.
Gurmeet Singh of Ali CC was the man of the match.
Next match of the league will be on 14 March between Barcelona CC and Barcelona International CC.
