The new look bowling attack for Alfas of Jamie Roper and Mohib Hussein worked well in tandem, taking five of the Madrid wickets between them as the visitors nudged their way to a score just over 200.

Middle order resistance from Hall (56), Wilson (32) and Jon Woodward (37) gave Madrid something to bowl at after the interval but some sublime batting from Spanish internationals Mark Spencer and Christian Munoz effectively put the game out of Madrids reach by the tenth over.
