ALFAS TAKE MAXIMUM POINTS FROM MADRID

 ALFAS LEAGUE CAMPAIGN BACK ON TRACK

Sporting Alfas got their league campaign back on track with a convincing victory over Madrid, collecting the maximum points available in the process.

Madrid batted first and scored 185 all out off with Balani top scoring with 53. Paul Taylor took the bowling honours with his left arm spin for Alfas, finishing with match figures of 4 for 32 off 9 overs.

In reply Alfas reached their target with 5 overs to spare. Gary Crompton followed up the century he scored last time at this ground with a fine 81 not out to see the Albir based side home with maximum bonus points and a firm holding at the top of the Costa Blanca League 1 table.
