Sporting Alfas II continued were they left off the previous week and progressed to a consecutive victory in the development league over the newcomers, La Manga Kings.
Alfas won the toss and predictably elected to field as they feel more comfortable chasing a total. Kings were soon in trouble, losing wickets with frequency, and they could only manage to keep the Alfas bowlers in the field for 23 overs as they were bowled out for just 91.
Only two Kings players scored double figures, as Waqas Ashraf destroyed their batting with an excellent spell of medium pace, to end with figures of 5 for 22.
La Manga never looked in trouble in chasing down such a small total, and managed to overtake the required score for just the loss of three wickets to claim maximum points and draw level at the top of the table with La Manga II.
