ALFAS CONTINUE TO PUSH MADRID
Sporting Alfas continue to push Madrid at the top of the development league with their 4th win in five games. This weekends victory was courtesy of a 68 run success over Almeria based Mojacar.
Alfas batted first and scored 189 for 9 with Spencer Dawes top scoring with 40. In reply Mojacar scored 121 for 7 when their overs run out with Spanish Under 19 international Jamie Roper taking his first ever five wicket haul just one month shy of the ICC Under 19 Torneo in the Isle of Man.
Alfas finished up with 16 points from the game whilst Mojacar took 5 points from the entertaining event.
