ALCORCON SIT PROUD ON TOP OF THE LEAGUE

Madrid based Alcorcon confirmed their status as the top team in the Development league and maintained their 100% record with a convincing victory over league newcoers San Fulgencio.

Alcorcon batted first and scored 218 all out with opener Tariq Ali top scoring with 69.Webster was the pick of the SFL bowlers with an excellent 8 over spell that yielded only 19 runs for 3 precious wickets.

In reply SFL scored 115 all out to lose in this game by 101 runs. Points wise Alcorcon were deducted 4 points, 2 for only having 10 players and 2 for no scorer, to finish with a total of 14 points, whilst SFL received 6 points in the game, 5 for their batting and 1 for their bowling performances.
