ALCORCON SEE OFF LA MANGA
Alcorcon returned to winning ways with a convincing 70 run victory over La Manga in the latest Premier league contest at the Murcia based ground.
Tariq Ali, once again proved what a talented batsman he is by scoring another century for the Madrid based club. He was well supported by former Madrid player and Spanish international, Mohammad Akmal, who scored 33 and Rehan Ul Haq who contributed 28 in their total of 236 all out.
For Munib bowled four good overs and returned figures of 4 for 19. La Manga´s batsmen had too many batting failures in their innings, with only Farhat Mahmood (44) making a pivotal score.
Alcorcon acquired 19 points whilst La Manga added 7 points to their league total.
