Match Report. 

Result: Spanish Junior Academy 175 for 9 v Merchant Taylor School 155 all out,   Spanish Junior Academy won by 20 runs. 
 
Spanish Junior Academy Win again, great performance by the boys against Merchant Taylors School from UK, with many of the squad unavailable due to school exams or one player taking exam at 1pm then turning up to play this was a win against all the odds.

Spain Batted first scoring at a good rate but losing wickets regularly, but Wajid 34 runs opening for the first time managed to steer the side to 66 off 18 overs, before Jamie Roper and Kieran Perman came to crease late on and produced an excellent partnership of 90 runs steering the spanish side to 175 off 9, Jamie Roper 66 runs and Keiran Perman 20. 
 
Merchant Taylors got off to great start scoring 75 off 16 overs before Krishen was caught by a smart catch from Jack Perman off Ashraf, this turned the game for Spain who increased the pressure with Akash bowling off spin with figs of 2 for 17 off 7 overs, Merchant Taylors were up against it now but managed to keep going until Tyler Brown came back on and took 3 wickets in 9 balls to seal the game for the Spanish.

Coaches Joel Brook & Mark Perman were pleased with the performance of the players especially the lads who earlier in the year attended Spanish Academy, you can see how the players are growing in confidence.
