MADRID CC PROMOTING CRICKET IN THE SPANISH CAPITAL

This coming Saturday 12th June Madrid CC will be proudly promoting cricket in Spain and Madrid to around 1000 visitors to the Expatica “I am not a tourist” Fair being held at the Hilton Hotel next to Barajas Airport, Madrid.

The Fair is specifically aimed at ex pats from all countries that now live in Spain yet find themselves still unaware of all that the country has to offer them and what associations and clubs exist to cater for their needs otherwise unavailable in every day Spanish circles.

It is often difficult to promote our favourite sport in a country that doesn’t recognise it officially as such and this is a great opportunity to create interest and awareness for cricket in Spain .

Madrid CC has been stepping up its bid to promote cricket in Spain for the past 3 years with its annual international solidarity cricket tournament and various other events, but the Fair is “ground untouched” and promotes cricket outside of the cricketing circle for the first time in Spain .

If you would like to visit the Fair and see the Madrid CC representative or the other stands on display please visit Expatica website (http://www.iamnotatourist.es/) for instructions on how to get your entrance ticket.

Look out Spain – cricket is coming your way!
