After a delayed start,Torre were put in to bat. With the proviso that each bowler  bowled his allotted 2 overs and each batsmen retires at 20,Torre openers P.Westlake and B.Norten set about their task, both retiring on 20,sharing 8 fours between them.

Both Jason K and K.Buckley also reached 20 apiece, before a mini collapse occurred in Torres batting, with the next four batsmen all being caught in the feild for a total of only 33 runs.Torre ended their innings at 134 for 8 from their 20 overs.

With a quick change-around due to the late start,Torreys bowlers set about their task with enthusiasm, B Norten dismissing J.John with a straight one for 5 and having Chess.R caught by the Torre captain B.Essuah for 0.

G.Wambeek,Director of Spanish cricket, bagged J.Catnay for 3 before clean-bowling Beruse for 1.Ben Essuah also joined the party, clean bowling Lurgan captain D.Fleming for 1,before going on to clean bowl Dave with his very next ball for a golden duck.

Torre female player,Bev Buckley had M.Mouse caught by keeper Jason K. for 7,before Sports Centre officials halted the match due to expiration of time.

Lurgan were 44 for 7 wkts down, so Captain David Fleming graciously conceded the match to Torrey CC,who also graciously accepted his kind award.

Then it was all back to Shelleys Bar,Torretta 3, the kind match sponsors of a trophy and winners medals. The Man of Match award  was presented by Torre captain Essuah to RAF pilot Gough for his fine 22 not out.
