Several clubs are escaping the intense Spanish heat in August and are taking tours to the UK. Intellectuals and Madrid CC will be taking their annual trips to Moreton-in-Marsh and Milton Keynes respectively. As part of the tour the Alicante based club will also take in day 3 of the county championship game between Warwickshire and Hampshire at Edgbaston on the 20th August.

Cataluyna are also embarking on a major tour of the UK, going on tour to the beautiful Roma city of Chester from the 21st to the 27th August. There they will play several games including matches against Barnton CC and the tournament hosts Chester Broughton Hall Cricket Club.

On the other hand, Ibiza is proving very popular with touring parties and several teams are heading for the party island once August has passes. First up in September are 12 CC from Bradford, followed 2 days later by West Hallam Cricket Club.

The first two weeks of October the Balearic Islanders welcome 3 clubs in quick succession, starting with Kennington CC and Highgate Travellers CC who will play in a tri-parite tournament, and they end the season on home turf with a 3 match series against Fiddlers CC.

Finally, one of Spain´s newest clubs Seville CC have started to forge links with their namesakes in Australia.

The Seville Crciket Club was founded in 1890 and they are a member of the Yarra Valley Cricket Association which is located some 50k north-east of the capital of Victoria, Melbourne.  Their season commences on the first Saturday of October and the club plans to have 5 senior and 5 junior sides playing this season.

It is hoped through time that the two teams will continue to forge strong links and support each others clubs from different sides of the world.
