Desert Springs features its own cricket academy and six grass nets with full run-ups. Several county sides and the Tom Maynard Trust have previously used the complex for pre-season training, conditioning and team bonding exercises.

The facilities available for the team and management allowed them to prepare for the Ashes as well as to relax and enjoy all resort facilities such as the Indiana Course, the Sierra Sports Club, The Crocodile Club, El Torrente Restaurant, and The Private Reserve.
