Today´s Daily snippet comes in the form of a message from the Spanish National captain Christian Munoz Mills, who shares with the readers how he is continuing to keep fit and ready for when the season starts again ..
“So as weve not been able to get outside the house, to play cricket or even practice, I have been working out twice a day. Normally in the morning after walking the dog for a bit, I then get my theraband and weights and do some specific exercises like back/triceps one day, shoulder/biceps the next day, and chest/legs another.
Then in the afternoon I do some cricket related drills like catching and batting as well as working on reflexes and things like that. Afterwards I do the second training of the day when I do some high intensity training exercises to challenge myself.
What is also important for me also is the food I eat, I am eating a lot, but the right things and food that is healthy like fruit, eggs and vegetables. I am also drinking lots of water..
Apart from all the training I do during the lockdown I am trying to do other things that I did not have much time for before like reading books, (currently reading “El poder de confiar en ti”, watching netflix, sunbathing and being with the family !
