Sporting Alfas I made it two wins out of two on consecutive days against Madrid I to edge ever closewr to the ECCL Premier League total.

Having been all out for just 68 in the first game, Madrid proved a different opposition second time around. Batting first the team from the capitol scored 263 for 6 from their over allocation. Australian Adam Langhans top scored with 108 not out and he was well supported by opener Joe Healey, who made 73.

In reply, Alfas made light work of such a tough score, surpassing the total with seven wickets to spare. Opener Shazad scored a fantastic 124 not out, and his century was matched by Christian Munoz-Mills, who made 104.

The win for Alfas means they only require six more points to retain the ECCL Premier trophy. Next weekend Alfas play at Levante and the current champions will be hoping to wrap up the total then at the VCG.
